Bad Trip: Bella Higgins, Angelaure Pierre, and Dorin Mogda

 

The exhibition explores the relationships between color, media, and figure. Higgins utilizes textiles and figures in an exploration of how gender is applied to the human form. Pierre’s text-based work challenges the viewer's knowledge of what color is or is not through the use of text and contradicting statements in a variety of color palettes. Through his combination of abstraction and realism, Mogda’s prints, paintings, and sculptures narrate a story between figures within dynamic landscapes.
