EXHIBITION DATES: April 7 - 11, 2025
RECEPTION: Friday, April 11, 2025, 5:00 - 8:00 pm
The Fine Arts Department of Ringling College of Art + Design is pleased to present Between Earth and Ether a Senior thesis exhibition featuring the work of artists Mya Brittingham, Rick Li, Arcell Salunga. Reception This Friday, April 11 at Crossley Gallery.
Between Earth and Ether explores the liminal space between the tangible and the transcendent. Through painting, airbrush, and performance, Arcell Salunga, Rick Li, and Mya Brittingham each navigate themes of memory, spirituality, and nature. Arcell’s meditative practice manifests in abstract forms and sacred shapes, while Rick’s oil paintings and airbrushed landscapes reflect familial ties and shifting nature. Mya’s work engages with ephemeral materials and ritual, bridging the ancient and the present. Together, their works evoke a world both grounded and ethereal—where existence is shaped by what we see and what we feel beyond sight
