The Fine Arts Department of Ringling College of Art + Design is pleased to present Remember, Remember, This is Now, and Now, and Now at Savage Gallery.

 

Featuring new work by Anastasia Theofanous and Anasofia Diaz, Remember, Remember, This is Now, and Now, and Now explores the themes of memory and identity.

 

Drawing inspiration from the dynamic cityscapes of New York City, Theofanous’ paintings and prints evoke today's urban environments while referencing shadows from their photographic images. Diaz’s prints, sculptures, and performative work center on mental health and self-destructive habits as they intertwine with personal identity. Exploring both presence and absence, the pieces in this exhibition serve as an introspective look at the emotional resonance of passing and permanent experiences.

 

 

Open to the public, the Savage Gallery will be hosting an artists’ reception for this exhibition on March 28th, 2025 from 5 pm to 7 pm. The exhibition is also open by appointment from Monday, March 24th to Friday, March 28th.
